cobRa developed by The ProMantix Group, is a Content Management System based on PHP. Written from the ground up, cobRa supports a multi level login system and modular plugins supporting a range of online services. Built with a base system that controls Session/Cookie interaction with your browser, cobRa's modular plugins support actions such as Content Management and Interaction.
Developed over several years, cobRa currently at version 0.1.2 and still essentially in beta, is a stable platform for developing a range of site types from retail management through to image galleries. With contintual development and ongoing release updates, cobRa has become a highly useful tool for managing online content.

What is cobRa?
Developed by The ProMantix Group and HostMantix, cobRa is the latest release of a Content Management System previously known as eMerchant. A fourth name change as development progresses. cobRa will take on the 0.1.x released versions of the ProMantix Content Management System.
Developement began as an idea over 5 years ago, and progress has been a little slow until the last two years. With improvements on both the technical market and internal development strategies, many changes have taken place in the few years that our content management system has been in development. Currently running on a very stable base, with built in SPAM Protection and User Logging, ProMantix based Content Management makes publishing content to the online world rather easy.
Whats new in cobRa?
This version will continue to grow off our previous cobRa version, with familiar interface and stable base code, cobRa will see improved error managment, with more concise error messages. Site wide system properties will be developed and much of the static configuration data will be able to be changed live as well as loaded out of a database. Site wide caching will also take place, with some minor changes to modules to accomodate the caching, a searches state will be able to be stored.
Other minor adjustments will continue to be made, with an outlook on improving the gallery manager, and image lightbox. Bug Hunts will also continue to take place, with an aim to streamline all base code and base modules. Plugin modules will then be realigned to fit with the streamlined base code. An example of this will be the bringing together of four nested classes into one reusable nested class that is used across the board.
